Obituary of Stephen Mongioi

Stephen "Steve" Mongioi, 60, of Manchester passed away at Van Dyke Hospice & Palliative Care Center, Toms River on May 23, 2013.He was born in Newark and had lived in Edison and Seaside before being displaced to Manchester by Hurricane Sandy. He was the former owner and operator of Tucky's Pizza, Linden. Steve was an avid fisherman and bayman and also had a love for the Yankees and Giants. Steve was predeceased by his parents, Sebastian and Virginia Mongioi. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Burrows of Brick; his brother,Rich and his wife, Robbie of Farmingdale; two nieces; two nephews; and two great nieces. A gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM with his Memorial Service to follow at 7:30 PM.
