Obituary of Paul Loures

Paul Joseph Loures, 51, of Jackson passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Paul was born in Brooklyn and was raised and had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Jackson in 2003. He was the owner & partner of Safe Start School Transportation, Toms River until his retirement. Paul was a missionary for Sonrise Missions (Uganda), House of Abraham (Haiti), and Missions Beyond Borders (Nicaragua). He was a member of King of Kings Church, Manahawkin and Calvary Chapel, Old Bridge. Paul was also an enthusiastic NY Giants and Yankees Fan. He was predeceased by his father, James J. Loures, Sr. in 2011 and a brother, Gary F. Loures in 2004. Paul is survived by two sons, Steven Loures and Andrew Loures both of Long Beach Island; his mother, Arline Loures of Jackson; two brothers, James J. Loures, Jr. of Avon-by-the-Sea and Steven J. Loures of Holmdel; a sister, Kathleen Loures of Old Bridge; and his former wife, Elena Loures of Long Beach Island. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the funeral home. Entombment to follow in Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
