Condolences
Joe and Family, May your heart and soul find peace with time. It is sometimes hard to believe a year goes by so fast. Thinking of you and your family.
Dear Vinny and family, My memory of Nick was that he was always upbeat and smiling. Hang on to all of the wonderful memories. Our family is praying for yours. Love, Clara and family
I don't know where to begin. I am in total disbelief. I met Nick 20+yrs ago at a beach house in Belmar n that was the beginning of a friendship that would last forever. We became friends immediately and even though our lives went in different directions, I knew that if I ever needed him he would come in a heartbeat. Nick was a kind, gentle man with a passion for the outdoors, his Harley, a dry Martini and great food. It saddens me because I did not know the Dalessio Famil personally, but he told me wonderful stories about all of you. He loved each and everyone of you more than you will ever know. And Yvonne, you had his heart. He treasured every friendship he had. I was fortunate enough to have been able to spend the past year and a half with Nick as his training partner. I think we talked more than we actually worked out...lol. My heart is broken and I am going to miss my dear friend more than humanly possible. I will miss seeing his smile every time we would meet at the gym. And how he'd come walking through the parking lot and give me a huge hug, like he hadn't seen me in years. I didn't get to say goodbye to Nick but maybe that's because he is never going to leave me. I just hope he knows how much he meant to me and that I loved him with all my heart. My deepest sympathy to the Dalessio Family. May his memory live on forever in your hearts. Xoxo

I met Nick many years ago, where else but at a taxidermist. From that day on, we shared the rest of our time together doing things we both passionately enjoyed; hunting and fishing. Nick was like the brother I never had. No words can express my sorrow for your loss. My sympathy and prayers go out to his family and friends. May we keep Nick in our thoughts and give thanks for having such a great friend.
Ahh, for cryin' out loud, how does this happen?! Here's a big strong Brute of a Man who survives Newark's Finast, barroom brawls, security breech's, etc... only to fall out of his stand. Not right! He was a ball to be around, and always had a good story. My first thought of Nicky, was when My newly wedded wife and I drove down to the Tradewinds night club to see a band, thinking that Bruce Springsteen might show. Well, so did everyone else in NJ. We decide to park (about a half mile away) and walk up anyway. People in Limo's were being turned away. Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins walked in the side door. As we walked to the main Entrance, I hear a shout, "Cousin Kurt"!! Nicky, the head Security Bouncer, gives Sherry and I a big Hug and Kiss (Sherry only for the latter), and throws us inside the door!! Good to be the King! One of the Best Springsteen Jersey Bar appearances I ever saw, thanks to Nick's quick wit, and taking care of "his Peeps"!

Joe and family,I am very sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
To nick, i am going to terribly miss, probably for the NEXT 35 years, the 35 years of friendship we had. I will cherish my memories of our high school days, trucking around on the paper route, the well taken warnings to my badly behaved boyfriends, the numerous shore house memories, the motorcycle rides, the martinis, the cannoli capers, Daytona, your hunting stories, our motto that " we had to stay fit to keep up with the young bucks", and your undying love, devotion and support for me ALL THESE YEARS. I can't thank you enough, I can only thank God for the years that I had the privilege to know YOU. Your sudden loss, has not sunk in for me yet and Although we never did get to Sturgis, I hope one day to see you in Harley Heaven... And we my friend...will take another ride... Xoxo patti briening romanzo. To the D'Alessio family..I share in your loss and heartbreak and vow to keep Nicks spirit alive through his love, my memories and our shared lives...forever...and that's eternal.
