Obituary of Henry Piasecki

Henry C. Piasecki, 88, of Wall passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation, Brick. Mr. Piasecki was born in Hartford, CT and lived in Hillside until settling in Wall in 2006. After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he was employed as a Plant Manager for Homecraft Manufacturing, Newark. He was a boy scout leader in Hillside Troop 94, a member of the Hillside Knights of Columbus and the Hillside Polish-American Club. He was also a member of the Hillside American Legion, Christ the King Church, Hillside and the Church of St. Rose, Belmar. Mr. Piasecki was predeceased by his parents, Constanty and Zophia Piasecki; his brother, Raymond Piasecki; and his sister, Regina Novak. He is survived by his wife, Olga Piasecki; his sister, Helen Rynk; his children, Peggy Knipfelberg and her husband, Bo, George Piasecki and his wife, Sue, Peter Piasecki and his wife, Donna and Barbara Strom and her husband, Ed; eleven grandchildren, Debbie Pagach, Michele Nunziato, Laurie Truitt, Michael Piasecki, Jaclyn Kandil, Lisa Guerin, Jennifer Piasecki, Steven Knipfelberg, Peter Piasecki, Danny Piasecki and Eddie Strom; and eleven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, November 1, 2013 from to 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 10:30 AM for the procession to his 12:00 PM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Rose, 603 Seventh Avenue, Belmar.
